WHAT IS FARM CONNEX?
A Pickup and Delivery service for Farms, Retailers, and Specialty Food Businesses.
Farm Connex, a farm product and food delivery service originally founded by Don Maynard in 2002, was acquired by the Center for an Agricultural Economy (CAE) in 2020 to ensure its continued operation. The goal of Farm Connex is to increase access to wholesale markets for Vermont's small farms and food-producing businesses.
How It Works
Farm Connex serves over 60 farmers, picking up products and delivering them to their respective markets.
Farm Connex is unique as it operates solely as a delivery service for small and medium farms and food businesses that may not have other means to get their products to market.
In addition to serving individual farmers, Farm Connex picks up and delivers products for Green Mountain Farm Direct, Deep Root Co-op, and CAE's farm-to-institution program.
